Southwest Regional Orchid Growers Association Joins

SWROGA exists to coordinate the interests of over 20 Orchid Societies
and their members in the south west region to grow, exhibit, and
conserve orchids. This effort is promoted through scientific and
educational programs related to orchids and their propagation, culture,
and development. The Conservation Committee focuses the conservation
efforts of these societies.

Art by Charles Hess joins and will Donate 100% of Art Sales to
Conservation
Orchid Art by Charles Hess Mission Statement:

Inspired by both the unique floral paintings, as well as the Amazon
conservation efforts of renowned
botanical artist Margaret Mee, all proceeds from purchases of limited
edition prints from Orchid Art by
Charles Hess are donated to the preservation of orchid habitats in the
rainforests of South America and
Asia, and to the study and preservation of native orchid species in
North America. Donations are made
annually to 3 organizations: the Rainforest Trust, the Orchid
Conservation Alliance, and the North
American Orchid Conservation Center at the Smithsonian.

Botanical Sanctuary Weekend Programme

At the Gurukula Botanical Sanctuary
we work closely with the native plants of the Western Ghat mountains in
India. Through them we nurture land, water, habitat and community.
