Participate in 1% For Orchid Conservation
For Non-profit Orchid Societies and Organizations1. Download the 1% for Orchid Conservation Orchid Society Agreement to inform your board on how the program works and why it would be advantageous for your society or business to participate.
2. After the board or person of your organization decides that they want their orchid society to participate e-mail: info@orchidconservationcoalition.org or the current administrator The 1% for Orchid Conservation Orchid Society Agreement is an easy to read "good faith" verbal agreement.
3. Use and promote the 1 % for Orchid Conservation trademark and start planning how to donate 1% of your net revenue toward orchid conservation. Check out non-profit Orchid Conservation Organizations that fit the 1% for Orchid Conservation criteria on the website for ideas on where you can send your contributions or investigate new options that fit the criteria or start your own in situ orchid conservation project by protecting native orchids in your local area.
4. Download conservation articles from the Orchid Conservation Coalition website of interest to your society for your society’s newsletter. Contribute articles about orchid conservation and conservation activities your society is engaged in that other societies may find of interest. An important part of the 1% for Orchid Conservation program is networking between societies, businesses, and orchid conservation organizations.
For Businesses1. Use the Orchid Conservation Coalition website and download the 1% for Orchid Conservation Presentation to inform your board on how the program works and why it would be advantageous for your society or business to participate.

License Business Agreement to look over. For businesses less
than $5 million in total sales:

For businesses with greater than $5 million in total sales: Trademark License Business Agreement (219 KB, pfd)
3. After the board or person of your organization decides that they want their business to participate fill out and sign the Trademark License Agreement. Send only two pages of the licensing agreement back (the title page and the signing page). The two pages can be sent back though post or digitally through e-mail. Digitally is preferred. For Individuals
1. Become an advocate of 1% for Orchid Conservation with your local orchid society. Get them to commit 1% or more of their net revenue each toward in situ orchid conservation and participate in the 1% FOC program.
2. Help your local orchid society decide where they will donate their contribution.
3. Individual can donate directly to orchid conservation organizations.
4. If you have a non-commercial website you may display the 1% for Orchid Conservation logo and link to the website.
